1ST CHIRK RAINBOWS opened in September 2009 and is a very popular, full unit.
Our girls enjoy lots of fun activities from crafts and making things to cooking, playing games, singing and completing challenges. They are supported by a leader, several unit helpers and several Young Leaders and would love to welcome another leader to help run the activities and make sure we all have lots of fun!
We also love to go on trips – we have been to Chester Zoo, Coxwood activity centre, Chirk pantomime and to visit the mayor of Wrexham. We like to have visitors who come to show and teach us new things, and we also get to go on sleepovers from time to time – sometimes with the Brownies and sometimes on our own!
We currently have a waiting list and cannot guarantee that girls already of Rainbows age (5-7 year olds) will be able to join us. For this reason we encourage parents to put their daughters on our waiting list as soon as possible – it is not uncommon for us to have very young babies on our waiting list!
